Headway's Summer Internship Program 2018

Headway is excited to announce the inaugural Summer Internship Program. Our Program Development Coordinator, Sarah Renberg, will be heading this unique learning opportunity where interns will be championing individual projects that benefit Headway while learning how to read scientific literature, work with in a team, and get a first hand look at concussion related medicine and non-profit work.

Interns will be contributing to an updating our extensive resources section, helping expand our recovery tips section, and aid in the planning for another incredible Concussion Awareness Weekend this winter. In addition, interns will have the opportunity to interact with leading doctors in the field, researchers, and med students to not only learn about concussion and proper injury management but also what to expect as they pursue health careers.

Headway has also planned a few experiential learning opportunities for interns including multiple concussion lab tours.

Follow along here to hear about all the great things they do for headway this summer!
