Headway Discusses Classroom Concussion Management with High School Faculty
Sarah Renberg spoke as part of a panel to the staff of Winston Churchill High School. The panel featured leading concussion researcher Dr. Michael Lewis. Sarah shared her personal experience of dealing with concussion in school, giving the staff a detailed account of what that is like, and was able to inspire change in the way the injury is managed in the classroom. Together, the panel was able to recommend how to best accommodate concussed students as they reacclimatize to school.
